नंतर ती बारावीला गेली आणि आमच्या कडे तिचे येणे थोडे कमी झाले. गावच्या शाळेत एक तरूण शिक्षक नुकतेच बदलून आले होते त्यांची शिकवणी नंदिताने लावली. त्यामुळे आमच्या रोजच्या भेटी कमी झाल्या. तरी सुटीच्या दिवशी तिचा मुक्काम आमच्याकडे असायचा. शाळेतल्या गमती जमती मला सांगताना तिला मोठा हुरूप यायचा. मी पण रस घेऊन तिच्या गप्पा ऐकायचो. तिच्या छातीवर येत असलेल्या उभारीकडे माझे लक्ष गेले असले तरी माझ्या मनात तिच्याबद्दल कधी वाईट विचार आले नाहीत.
प्रमोशन मिळून माझी जबाबदारी वाढल्यामुळे मला कधी कधी ऑफिस मध्ये उशीर व्हायचा त्यामुळे मी जिल्ह्याच्या ठिकाणी एक खोली भाडयाने घेतली होती. रात्री जास्त उशीर झाला तर मी तिथे झोपायचो. कारण शेवटली बस रात्री आठ वाजता सुटली की सकाळपर्यंत दुसरी बस नव्हती. त्यामुळे नंदिता च्या शिकवणीची जबाबदारी माझ्यावर आता नसल्यामुळे एक प्रकारे बरेच झाले होते.

A new study claims that women have a full body overhaul, that includes a facial, spray tan and blow dry, before hopping in the sack with a new partner.
The research by luxury underwear brand Bluebella has found that women splash out on new knickers and a range of beauty treatments before having sex with a new partner, the Daily Star reported.
And, the study found that women spend a whopping six hours planning their first night of passion with a new love.
A third admit to booking in for a facial to ensure an alluring afterglow, 32 per cent opt for a flattering spray tan and 76 per cent make sure their hair is professionally styled.
Almost two-thirds invest in a brand new lingerie set, while 31 per cent will treat themselves to a new dress.
And more than one in three ladies claim they would never dress in underwear they'd worn with a previous lover.
Around a fifth of women go a step further, ensuring their bed linen is untainted by the memories of a former lover.
Waxing is another essential - with 53 per cent booking into a salon for a session. The results come from a survey of 1,000 women by lingerie brand Bluebella.
Meanwhile, on the date itself 74 per cent of women say they would avoid the bread basket and carb dishes at dinner on the big night, to ensure their tummy is as flat as possible.
It appears that once the female specie has decided tonight's the night they won't let anything stand in their way - and that includes monitoring their partners' alcohol intake, 19 per cent of the women surveyed confessed.
